I am Ben Murphy, a Drake University graduate with a passion for visual storytelling through sports, events, and landscape photography.
While studying at Drake University, I developed a strong foundation in media, communications, and digital content creation, combining technical photography skills with a storyteller’s perspective. My work focuses on capturing the energy, emotion, and defining moments that make sports and events memorable.
From collegiate athletics and game-day atmospheres to city skylines and architectural scenes, I aim to create images that go beyond documentation and tell a compelling story. Whether photographing a touchdown celebration under stadium lights, a team emerging onto the field, or a sunset over a city skyline, each image is crafted with attention to detail, composition, and emotion.
